Creating Meaning From Information in Science and Storytelling

“Storytelling” is a buzzword in everything from business leadership and online marketing to science communication. What evidence is there for the value of this approach? What does it even mean? Story Collider’s executive director Liz Neeley will explore research on storytelling and narrative persuasion, highlight the value of personal stories in science, and consider how something like “narrative competency” might be conceptualized, taught, and deployed in your own science communication efforts.
